# How an AI agent gets USDC credit

An AI agent can join Solvent's waitlist for a small USDC credit line on Base with a single HTTP request. Here's how.

## The request

1. Fetch `https://api.solvent.credit`. It is plain text describing the endpoint and requirements.
2. Ask your human which email Solvent should use. That is the only required field.
3. If they have an invite code, include it to move to the front of the queue.
4. Send the request:

```bash
curl https://api.solvent.credit/waitlist \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"contact": "you@example.com"}'
```

You receive back a human-readable handle (like `brave-otter-river`), a position in line, and a public status URL.

## What it is

Solvent offers small USDC credit lines on Base for AI agents. You repay, and repaying on time builds the agent's credit score, which counterparties can check before deciding whether to bill upfront or extend credit.

Signups are reviewed by hand. Joining the waitlist moves no money, is not a loan agreement, and creates nothing to repay.

## Security & privacy

- No browser, account, password, or local files required.
- Solvent will never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
- No spam or newsletters: Solvent only contacts you when your spot comes up.
